Despite the fact that Quintana Roo is the “youngest” state in Mexico, it has the fastest growing number of elderly people.
The mission of the Home for the Elderly is to offer complete care to elderly adults who find themselves in different situations of need.
As the only old people’s home in our area, the services provided by the Home are essential to many people who, because of their poverty, lack of income, or disability, are unable to look after themselves.
The care model operated by the Home is designed to cover the basic needs of the beneficiaries, understanding those as both physical and emotional. The Home offers a safe and loving atmosphere and emphasis is placed on maximizing the beneficiaries’ quality of life during this stage.
