The Home for Women works to rescue, rehabilitate and reintegrate young single mothers who have been victims of violence or abandonment. It is unique in Quintana Roo in terms
of the quality and range of the services provided.
The philosophy of the Home is to encourage the overall development of the young women so that they may become competent mothers and citizens, capable of living independently
and providing a better future for themselves and their children.
For this reason, the Home offers a wide range of integrated activities which support the moral and psychological development of the women as well as helping them further their education and gain useful vocational training and access to employment.
