In few years the City of Joy Foundation has made remarkable progress and offered new opportunities of life to thousands of people. However, the enormity of the challenges and social issues we face, require a comprehensive and long-term response.
We can all contribute in some way, and each donor may select how to help and guide how their donation should be used.
Cash/check donation: Our offices are located in the Coordination of the City of Joy. Please remember to make checks payable to “Fundación Ciudad de la Alegría A.C.”.
As the City of Joy is a registered charity, a tax-deductible receipt is available for all donations, but please contact us for further information on its validity outside Mexico or other means of making a donation from your country.
Online, credit or debit card: It is easy and safe to donate online, contributing either one time only, or on a monthly basis. If you would rather not to donate online, please fill in our donation form and send it via fax ( 52 998) 898 6224 or via email: info@ciudadalegria.org

Please, do not forget to send the donation form along with the copy of your bank deposit form via fax or email, so we can register your donation.
In kind: each in kind donation is very valuable to us, you can contribute:
- Perishable and nonperishable foods.
- Personal care and cleansing products.
- Clean clothes in good condition.
- Medical equipment and medicines (within expiry date).
- Furniture and domestic supplies in good condition.
- Construction materials.
Please look into our wish list to get more information about the specific requirements of each home.
We encourage you to bring your donation directly to the City of Joy Foundation offices between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
If you need a tax deductible receipt, please provide us with a letter on headed paper, written to Fundacion Ciudad de la Alegria A.C., with a description of the donated good and its value.
